I have been fairly quiet as I’ve just finish my PME Sugar flowers class which took up 5 full Sats and a really short trip to neighboring country which I consider mission accomplish! I absolutely enjoy my PME Sugar flowers class which can be frustrating as well when you have to do petals by petals, leaves and leaves which really tested my patience but it certainly bring a whole new world of what flowers meant to me. I hope to write more about that in the next entry.

While on the way home tonight, I suddenly miss home baked cakes! Butter Fruit Cake …. but that will have to wait till this weekend as I’ve clear my pantry totally – no butter, no sugar, no flour and no chocolate! I am certainly glad to restock as I’ve always like strolling down the tiny aisle of the baking store while trying to visualise what I can bake with each and every ingredient. I like to think that this is better than strolling aisle of shopping center!

I’m on the quest to look for the perfect tool to cut strips and this is the best I’ve used compared to the other one I bought . While it look simple and only with 3 choices of cutters, it’s much easier to control due to the size, holding both ends it took little effort to cut through the fondant and have better control over the amount of strength you put on. It also cuts right from 3mm to 50mm. While the other brand comes with several patterns to cut, it took some effort to control how it goes which is at times like losing control of a car and you’ve to position it correctly, applying some strength so that it cut through. I hope this little review will give you a better idea which tool to buy when you need to cut strips :) and not like me who took a longer route to know which is better.
